This event is a SafetyFM.com roadshow with Dr. Jay Allen founder of Safety FM and Sheldon Primus, MPA, COSM, COSS. You will have the option to do a full week, 1 two-day track, or just the roundtable. During this event you will be presented an opportunity to expand your current knowledge and application of Environmental, Safety, and Health activities.
The OSHA compliance track will teach you, the safety professional, how to apply the knowledge and tips that safety consultants use daily .
Moving beyond safety compliance, the Human Organization Performance (HOP) track will enlighten you to think of safety in an entirely new way. Attending this track will help move you from safety compliance to safety culture.
The final day of the event is a roundtable discussion answering your specific questions on safety compliance and safety culture through the eyes of HOP.

Sheldon Primus is a Certified Occupational Safety Specialist with a Master of Public Administration (MPA) with a concentration in Environmental Policy. Sheldon is the host of the Safety FM podcast “Safety Consultant with Sheldon Primus”. He has been in the environmental and occupational safety field since 1994. Additionally, he is a trainer for the Certificate for Occupational Safety Managers (COSM) and Certified Occupational Safety Specialist (COSS) programs of the Alliance Safety Council-Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Safety professionals and future consultants take Sheldon’s courses at the online training center Primus Institute.
Dr. Jay Allen will facilitate the Human Organization Performance (HOP) workshop. Human and Organizational Performance is a global movement towards using the social sciences to better understand how to design resilient systems. Day 1: Introduction to HOP. Day 2: HOP Fundamentals
Jay Allen, Ph.D. is the founder of Safety FM. Jay has multiple years of experience with the development of safety programs and changing the safety cultures of organizations. Jay has a doctorate in psychology, bachelors in broadcasting, and is certified with American Society of Safety Professionals, National Safety Council, Transit Safety Institute, and World Safety Organization.
